Established in 1993, French May is one of the largest cultural events in Asia. With more than 100 programmes presented across two months, it has become an iconic part of Hong Kong’s cultural scene that reaches over 200 thousand visitors each year. The objectives of French May are to touch everything, to be everywhere and for everyone.
In 2023, French May Arts Festival celebrates 30 years at the heart of Hong Kong’s cultural scene, stimulating creation, collaboration and artistic exchange. For this occasion, Opera Gallery is presenting “Lyrical Encounters”, an art exhibition highlighting artworks from Zao Wou-Ki, Chu Teh-Chun, Feng Xiao-Min, Georges Mathieu and André Brasilier.
